River,
rocks, trees and caves, such is the image of Libo karst. Visitors always ask the locals where
the karst is when they arrive in Libo. Karst topography actually can be seen
everywhere in Libo, even on the road from Guiyang to Libo. Visitors are always
told the best known scenic spots including “Xiao Qi Kong”(Small 7-Arch Bridge),
and “Da Qi Kong”(Big 7-Arch Bridge). These two two stone bridges were built in
the Qing dynasty and are well known for their scenic beauty. As a back packer,
I was able to walk through the wonderful Libo karst formation.
