Doubtlessly, Naren Abi was a real person. She had a real name. There are
historical documents recording her exploits. She had offspring who survive
to this today. However, she was also someone in between a human and a God.
Legend has it that she had inexhaustible magic power, that she founded the practice of bonesetting in traditional
Mongolian medicine and was herself a bonesetter with her name known throughout
the Mongolian region and even in the whole of the Qing Dynasty.
