English Version

Mr. Qian Peng-hu was born in 1941, in Wu-xi City of Jiang-su Province in People's Republic of China.  He is a state-level professional in art design and decoration and now lives and works in New York City.

His specialty is landscape painting.   By using subtle but rich colors in a delicate endless flowing style, he depicts the vigor and energy of nature vividly and incisively.

Mr. Qian pours his heart into nature and is its servant.   But he is also a true master of nature because of his superior ability to encompass all forms of life into his art.  His works are detailed and neat but not trifling, complex and varied but unified with an integrated beauty.

His American urban landscape paintings show another aspect of his mastery of art.  The details in the paintings can compare with those in photographic works.  However, in his paintings, superficial photographic elements become concrete forms, magnificent and exaggerated while not being gaudy or conventional.  They depict prosperous economic reality in modern American cities.  Through the integration of art forms from decorative arts into landscape art, Mr. Qian has developed his own unique style.
