The Art World of aoGuang

HaoGuang has learned to love painting since he was a child. The smooth lines and the marvelous colors gave him a wonderful and completely new world which is quite different from real life. He enjoyed the novelty and delight, and was immersed in the profound traditional Chinese culture and the magic power done with a simple brush. After he graduated from XIAN Art Institute, he became a teacher for eight years. He learned and emulated the paintings of the great masters, for example, the works of Wu Changsuo, Qi Baishi, Huang Binhong, and Shi Lu etc. After long period of practices, he created his own style, which is simple, interesting, naive, and brightly-colored. Flowers or birds, or leafs or fish in his paintings are intended to represent the beautiful life. The delicate and beautiful lotus flowers, the green and strait bamboo, the braving snow and frost plum blossoms, or the dragonfly standing on the top of lotus, the fish swimming in the water and the bird singing on a twig, form a quiet, bright, warm and harmonic artistic conception.
The contents of his paintings are the most common things in our lives. But he wants to express uncommon feelings and sense. So, the plum blossom, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum in his paintings are the symbols of friendships, pure lotus flower is the symbol of chastity, peony is the symbol of welfare.
